This article will guide you through the process of activating your Shoobx account and setting your investment entity, so you can view and sign all of the necessary documents relating to that firm.

Activating Your Account in Shoobx
Begin with the email that contains language like "Invitation from {Acme Fund V, LP} to Join Shoobx."
1. Click on the link to get to the Shoobx setup page. Once you're there, enter a password for your account, double-check that your name is correct, and confirm that you have read and agreed to Shoobx’s Privacy Statement and Terms of Use.
2. Check your email for the verification email with your Account Verification Code. The validation code will go to the same email as your invitation. Enter the Account Validation Code where prompted on the Shoobx website.
3. This will bring you to a new page that will look like this:
4. After you select “Welcome to Shoobx On Behalf of Acme Fund V, LP,” you will see a new page where you will fill in your information. Select “yes” if you are the correct person to be managing this entity in Shoobx. If you are NOT the correct person to manage this entity, select "No, someone else is responsible for this relationship" and provide their information when prompted.
5. After choosing “yes,” click on the “The suggested party” option. This will allow you to ensure that the name of your investment firm is correct. Please note: this should be the entity through which you intend to invest in the company that invited you to Shoobx.
6. Once you click “Continue” you’ll be taken to your dashboard, where you can see your documents, your profile information, and your workflow status. You are now ready to review and sign documents relating to the company that invited you to Shoobx.
7. As a final step, you can (but don't have to) enter your personal information and complete your profile. You can do so by clicking on your initials at the upper right corner of the screen, and then selecting the "Manage Profile" button.
