The “Sign External Document” workflow takes a document that already exists, sends it out for signature, and saves it to your data room.
Running the Workflow
First, find the “Sign External Document” workflow under the “Data Room” section of workflows.
Next, you will be asked to select the folder where the document will be placed once it’s fully signed, and whether the document contains “sensitive information," such as a Social Security Number or birthday. You’ll also be asked to upload the document for signature.
For best results, make sure any blank fields, like an effective date, are filled in, and any signature pages are removed, before you upload the document. Shoobx will affix a signature page to your document.
If desired, you can define what group the people signing belong to, such as "Investors" or "Stockholders."
You will then be asked to list the people or entities that will be signing the document.
Shoobx will then ask the signatories you listed to sign the document. Once everyone signs, you will find the document in the data room folder you selected.
