Incorporate Your Company
Incorporating your company offers numerous benefits, including protection for your personal assets, the ability to raise capital, and the possibility for your business to continue in perpetuity, regardless of changes in leadership. Fully half of all companies incorporate in Delaware. The document being filed to incorporate goes by many names (Articles of Incorporation and Certificate of Incorporation to name a few), but it is most commonly referred to as your company's Charter.
The platform will prepare your paperwork and guide you through the process of filing your company's Charter with the state of Delaware. If you have already filed, the workflow will capture the details of your Charter.
The Incorporation workflow will also create your company's bylaws and set up your company's initial Board of Directors by executing the Consent in Lieu of Meeting of Sole Incorporator.

An Employer Identification Number (EIN), also known as a Federal Tax Identification Number, is a unique nine-digit number assigned to your company by the IRS. The EIN is used to identify your business when filing taxes and may be required on other forms related to your company.

We understand how important the advice of your legal counsel is to you. We make it easy for you to collaborate right in Shoobx. Inviting your attorney to work with you on Shoobx creates a relationship that may give your legal counsel access to documents in your Data Room and authorization to act on behalf of your company in Shoobx. It will also unlock some advanced Shoobx features.
