When you first activated your Shoobx account, you were able to enter and verify a few email addresses. You then designated one of those as a preferred email address and one as an account recovery email address. We require that you still have access to your account recovery email address after you are no longer with your company, so most Shoobx users set their work email as their preferred address and use a personal email for their account recovery address. You can log in to Shoobx with any of your verified email addresses. However, a request for a forgotten password will only go to the account recovery email address. Shoobx will email your preferred email for standard Shoobx notifications (signing documents, reminders, etc.) excluding password reset emails. (Note: If your preferred email is NOT your work email, then Shoobx will email not only your preferred email for these email notifications but also your work email.)
The "Forgot your password?" link is the first step to getting your new password. Shoobx users can change their passwords by going to Shoobx.com, clicking on the "login" button. You can also just follow the direct link: https://app.shoobx.com/@@loginForm.html. Once there, you'll click the "forget your password" button, and Shoobx will send a reset password email to your account recovery email address.
Click the link and enter any email address associated with your account. Shoobx will send instructions to the account recovery address you entered in your profile.
Note: The email with your instructions will go to your Account Recovery Email address on file in your account profile. The Account Recovery email address may not match the email you entered on the previous screen.
Follow the instructions in the email to set a new password and begin using Shoobx!
If the email does not appear in your inbox, make sure you are checking the correct email address, look in your spam folder, and search for the email, which will be titled "Reset Password Requested" and come from firstname.lastname@example.org. If that fails, contact us at email@example.com, and our support team will be happy to help!
You can, at any point, change your password in Shoobx. To do so, simply log into your Shoobx account. Select your profile picture on the upper right hand side of the toolbar and click on the "Manage Profile" from the drop-down menu. This will bring you to a page that will contain your name and a small button in the bottom right that reads "Reset Password." By selecting this button, you will be able to change the password that you have currently been using on Shoobx. The button will prompt you to first verify your decision with an email link or input a verification code before typing in your new password.
